Youth Advocate Program International does not currently
offer a membership program. It is our hope to start
a program next year, yet in order to keep up with the
needs of members, we will need to be able to accommodate
all of the questions, requests, and benefits that members
expect.
In
the meantime, we are encouraging individuals, corporations,
and foundations to help support our work by making a
contribution,
which will help strengthen our ability to create new
programs, including a new membership program.
To make a contribution, simply click on the "Donate
Now" button at the left side of the
page.
For general information, please refer to the web links
immediately below, or send us an e-mail requesting these
or our other documents and materials in PDF or Microsoft
Word format.

Education Program - Seeking Test Pilot Schools
If you know of any public, private, or charter high
schools that would be interested in being a test pilot
school for our new curriculum
modules, let us know. The only requirements are
that the school choose two curriculum modules from our
availbel modules, learn them (which takes approximately
one hour), present each one in a 45 minute class period,
and give us teacher and student comments. That's it!
Each
high school will be recognized on our website, and a
link to the page will be sent to schools and teachers'
unions nation-wide this fall. In 2006 the program will
be promoted internationally.
We
are only beginning our search for test schools, so if
you are interested, please
contact us.
Your Support is Needed at YAP International
We provide education, awareness, and advocacy programs;
send e-newsletter updates on issues; and work on numerous
committees to develop goals, strategies, and plans to
promote, prevent, and eliminate the many atrocities
facing children everyday around the world.
We
need your support to do our work. The easiest way to
support our work is to click the "Donate
Now" button above. Your contribution will help
to make a world of difference.
Individuals,
corporations, and foundations are welcome to make donations
using this method; however, if you would prefer to write
a check, simply send the check to our address below.
We
have already received a generous grant from the National
Youth Advocate Program this year, and hope to match
the $150,000 with new donor support for next year.
Again, simply click "Donate
Now" or send a check to the address
below.
