You Can Help !!
In order to do our work, we need you! This means promoting the cause and supporting our work through volunteering your time to plan an event or fundraiser, or giving directly to the organization.
YAP International provides information, consulting, training, education, strategy, planning, promotion, and referrals to tens of thousands of people every year through our direct information, education, and referral programs; and indirectly through our consulting, training, strategy, and planning work. Being able to provide these services on a diverse range of issues affecting children makes us an invaluable resource.
Due to good program planning and the work of numerous interns and volunteers, we are able to operate on less than $220,000 per year, including in-kind donations. Although we accomplish a great deal on a small budget, yet we still need your support to continue, let alone expand.

Humanitarian relief and development agencies depend on organizations like YAP International to ensure the public and policy-makers are aware and better educated on these issues, that policy development is heading in the right direction, and to move these issues to center stage, nationally and internationally.
Since much of our administrative work is provided by interns and our rent is an in-kind gift, nearly 90% of every dollar goes directly to these activities (with approximately 10% going to general operating expenses).

Challenge Gift Program
You can make a gift go twice as far... by making it a challenge gift.
Ask your employer, they may already match charitable gifts, or they may be willing to support the idea. Thousands of companies match, double, or even triple contributions made by employees, especially now that companies are becoming more socially responsible.
If not, provide with your gift the contact information of the person or organization you would like to challenge to contribute the same amount - or - double your gift, and we will take care of the rest!

Giving the Perfect Gift
Whether a wedding, a birthday, the holiday season, or any another reason, giving a charitable gift in someone's name is always in good taste. It is also a perfect gift for someone who has everything!
Send your gift, along with your name, name and address of the person in whose name the gift is given, and occasion for which the gift is being sent. We will send you and the "gift recipient" a thank you letter.

Receipts and Recognition
In order to put your contribution to better use, contributions of less than $50 will only receive an e-mail notice regarding the gift for tax purposes, unless specifically requested.
Contributors of $50 or more, and those providing requested in-kind donations, will receive a thank you letter recognizing the value of their gift.
All contributions of $25 or more, and those providing requested in-kind donations, will be acknowledged on our web site, unless the donor specifically asks to remain anonymous.
